Emma Roberts no longer dating actor
Emma Roberts' love life seems to be changing quite a bit these days.
In the aftermath of her breakup with "Tron: Legacy" actor Garrett Hedlund in 2022, the "Scream Queens" star says she is done dating actors.
"One day the veil was lifted and I didn't want to date actors anymore," Roberts told Flaunt in a new profile interview.
"I think it's hard for actors to be with each other. I'm trying to figure out if I've ever seen it work," she continued.
"Also, the actors I was with were more like method actors, which I think is something that is very difficult, at least for me, to relate to, especially with the characters they were playing.Recently, Roberts has been dating someone Flaunt calls Unnamed Beau, who casually interrupted her interview and asked her to go to yoga with him. The only information the actress shared about her new boyfriend was that he is, as a reporter put it, "not an actor, but an actor from the entertainment industry"
and that he is "not an actor.
She also explained that UB is not "online." She said, "If you want to get girls hooked, don't Instagram it."
Roberts and Hedlund previously dated from 2019 to 2022 and share a son named Rhodes, born in 2020.
One reason fans were surprised by Roberts' claim that she is no longer open to dating actors is that many of her past flames shared her profession: among them, Alex Pettyfer in "Wild Child," "Falling for Christmas. Code Overstreet, and Evan Peters of "American Horror Story" were engaged.
Roberts recently said on iHeartPodcasts' Table for Two, "I always joke, 'Why doesn't anyone say George Clooney is a nepotistic baby?'" Rosemary Clooney is an icon!" I say, "I'm not a Nepo Baby," she said, and she got into the news with her comment about the "Nepo Baby" phenomenon. As Julia Roberts' niece, she feels that women are more exposed to "nepo baby" criticism than men.
Meanwhile, the actress is currently concentrating on promoting her online reading community, Belletrist.
