Private and famous Suki Waterhouse talks about meeting her fiancé Robert Pattinson and adjusting to fatherhood
Suki Waterhouse graced the cover of the August issue of British Vogue, but being the private person she usually is, she also graced the cover with her 3-month-old daughter she has with fiancé Robert Pattinson.
As befits its cover story, Waterhouse spoke candidly about being a new mom, telling the magazine that she and Pattinson "really planned" to become parents together. "One day we just looked at each other." What could be more chaotic?" I was like, "I don't know.
Waterhouse welcomed her daughter in March and spoke candidly about her feelings as she entered the "fourth trimester," as she called the immediate postpartum period, shortly after her arrival. She praised her postpartum experience in an Instagram caption, noting that adjusting to being a new mom was difficult: "The fourth trimester ... . was humbling!" She wrote. "The postpartum period has been filled with exhilarating joy, lots of laughter, tears, and lots of hormones! I am proud of all that my body has accomplished and proud of the grace and grace I have given myself during this recovery period."
[6A month after the birth of her daughter, Waterhouse performed at Coachella, where she told fans, "As some of you may know, I recently had a big change in my life."
"I love amazing women and have been so lucky to have my own little amazing woman and to meet the love of my life.
As for his other beloved, Pattinson, Waterhouse opened up about him within the pages of British Vogue, saying that meeting him was "very, very intense" and said of the Hollywood game night where she first met him in 2018. 'Al Pacino was there. Javier (Bardem) and Penelope (Cruz) were there too. ...... Everyone was really acting."
She said of Pattinson, "I was sure I had met him a long time ago, but he didn't think we had," adding that during the event they "started giggling at the absurdity of the whole thing" so much so that they were "told off": "laughing too much. There was a director who pulled us apart," she said.
She said they both had "the same little uncomfortable feeling" that she thinks brought them together, and now, years later, "I think Rob is pretty funny," Waterhouse said. 'When I'm around him, it kind of brightens my heart.'
Waterhouse told British Vogue that life in Los Angeles has "definitely become more enjoyable" since meeting Pattinson, but added that he has not ruled out a return to London, where the two were born.
Despite being "really nervous" at the birth of his daughter ("like any father," Waterhouse added), "he was very calm, even though he's a pretty anxious person," Waterhouse said of Pattinson's adjustment as a father. She also said that Pattinson was "the father I wanted him to be" and that of him and his daughter, "I mean, father and daughter.
