Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid's daughter Kai is the center of her dad's world and Malik's biggest fan.

According to a new interview with Malik, who hails from One Direction, published in Harper's Bazaar India, his 3-year-old daughter asks, "Is Baba singing?" when she hears a song.

Malik also opened up about how little Kai changed his life.

"It happened so fast," he said. Being a father has inspired me and made me a better person." My daughter is my whole life and has given me purpose."

Born in September 2020, Kai will turn 4 this year. The singer and the supermodel have been co-parenting since their breakup around October 2021, raising their daughter primarily in rural Pennsylvania.

Malik appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast in 2023 and revealed that his daughter awakened a childlike side in him.

He told host Alex Cooper at the time, "I feel like I've rekindled my childhood through her. I feel like you reach a certain point in your adult life where everything is fuzzy and gray and boring.

The proud father explained that his little one was "funny" and "cheeky" but also "calm" and a big reader.

Malik has been famously tight-lipped about his life since leaving One Direction in 2015, but according to Bazaar, he is "ready to be elusive" these days. He just released his latest album, "Room Under the Stairs," and thanks his fans for watching his creative process over the years. He says, "My relationship with my fans, like every relationship in my life, continues to change for the better. I am growing and learning. I wouldn't be where I am today without them."
