Ice Spice coordinates her hair with a vintage orange Versace dress at the BET Awards

Ice Spice's orange hair spices up any outfit, and yesterday she matched the color of her dress at the 2024 BET Awards.

Spice wore a vintage tangerine Versace dress from the brand's 2004 spring/summer collection, which debuted when she was just 4 years old. She took a break from her famous curls and styled her hair into an Old Hollywood-style bob.

The dress featured a low back, high-low ruffle frames, center ruffles, and a keyhole neckline that reached down to her star pierced navel. It is the essence of the 2004 Versace S/S collection, filled with bright neon colors, ruffled frills, wide open necklines, exposed midriffs, and hip-hugging silhouettes.

Spice paired the slinky gown with satiny orange pin-heeled sandals with triangular toeboxes and thin ankle straps. On her right foot, she wore a thick silver chain anklet encrusted with diamonds. Ankle ice picked up the ice on her neck. A chunky diamond chain necklace with a giant diamond butterfly pendant.

This is not the first time Spice has matched her outfit and hairstyle. In fact, this is one of her stylist's classic tricks. Timothy Luke Garcia has dressed Ice Spice in many hot pinks, shades of army green, and sheer black numbers, but the rapper's look really pops with her signature orange.

For this year's People's Choice Awards, he dressed her in a custom orange lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with a bright orange fur collar worthy of a lion. For Spice's "Gimmie A Light" music video, Garcia paired a vintage orange J'adore Dior tank top with traffic cone-colored Manolo Blahnik pin boots.

Ice Spice took home three awards at last night's ceremony, including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, up against big names like Beyoncé, SZA, Cardi B, and Dodger Cat. Nicki Minaj won the award. Spice also treated the crowd to live performances of "Phat Butt" and "Think You the S--- (Fart)."
