Prince William is reportedly planning a poignant visit with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, reminiscent of a visit Princess Diana once made when Prince William was a chil

Just as his mother, Princess Diana, once took him to a homeless center, Prince William plans to visit the shelter with his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in the coming months, "Hello" reported.

According to the Times, Prince William is considering a special visit with his three children in tow, a move "reminiscent of his childhood visits to homeless shelters with his mother, Princess Diana," "Hello" reported.

Ending homelessness is an issue so close to William's heart that last year he launched "Homewards," a UK-wide program to end homelessness. This five-year program, Harrow writes, "strives to form a locally-led coalition of committed individuals, organizations, and businesses that intend to work together to prevent and ultimately end homelessness locally."

These visits when William was a young man deeply impressed him and, speaking of Homewards, William said, "In a modern, progressive society, everyone should have a safe and secure home, be treated with dignity, and given the support they need. Through Homewards, I want to make this a reality and give people across the UK hope that over the next five years, if we work together, we can prevent homelessness."

According to Tatler, Diana first took William to the shelter when he was 11 years old. The magazine reports that "the mantle has been taken over by her eldest son, who is a key element of Diana's work as royalty and patron of a number of charitable organizations working on the issue."

William has told The Sunday Times in the past that he would like to pass the mantle on again, this time to his children George, Charlotte, and Louis, and that he plans to introduce his work by taking them to a shelter: "If I can manage it with school lessons, "The children will definitely be exposed to this work," he said. He said he plans to introduce his work by taking the children to a conservation facility: "If we can make it compatible with their school work, they will definitely be exposed to this work.
