Princess Kate reveals the latest way her only daughter, Princess Charlotte, is following in her footsteps.

Those who saw Princess Charlotte alongside her mother, Princess Kate, at Wimbledon on Sunday could not help but notice that Kate's only daughter mirrored Kate's image over and over again.

And Kate revealed that there was another way her only daughter resembled her when the two were at Wimbledon with Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton Matthews.

Given that Wimbledon is one of the most famous tennis tournaments in the world, it is no wonder that the sport was the center of the conversation on Sunday, Kate's second public appearance since 2024. Chatting at Wimbledon, Kate revealed that Charlotte “practiced yesterday” and said that tennis is “really great for young kids.” After all, Kate and Prince William have a tennis court at their home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, and George has had one-on-one lessons with tennis legend Roger Federer in the past. Federer said of George's ability, “At that stage, it's all about just touching the ball. He's already good. He's like my sons. I think I have a little bit of an advantage in that I've actually spent some time with him.”

Kate also reportedly took tennis lessons at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham when the Welsh family of five were still living at Kensington Palace in London, but moved to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Estate in 2022. The only time she missed Wimbledon was in 2013 when she was pregnant with George.

On Wimbledon Sunday, Kate said she and Charlotte were “filling out the leaderboard” as the two-week tournament progressed, adding that “as a family, we play a lot” about tennis.
