Taylor Swift dedicated her latest Eras tour date to Travis Kels.

At a July 17 performance in Gelsenkirchen, with her soccer player boyfriend in the audience, the pop star performed a surprise mashup of “Invisible String” from “Folklore” and “Superstar” from “Fearless”

The band performed “Invisible String” from “Folklore” and “Superstar” from “Fearless.

Fans quickly concluded that the medley was a love letter to Kells.

Swift performed the mashup acoustically, singing lyrics from “Superstar”: “You smile that beautiful smile / All the girls in the front row / Shout your name,” and “I am not special, just another big-eyed A girl”

and other lyrics from ‘Superstar’ sung acoustically Fearless was released in November of the same year. But of course, “The Chiefs Man” is a superstar in his own right, with three Super Bowl wins under his belt, a hit podcast, and other media successes.

The singer sang at the end of the mashup: “And isn't it so cute / To think / That all along / An invisible thread / Was connecting you and me / Superstars?

“Invisible String” was released during Swift's long-term relationship with Joe Alwyn, so at first glance it appears to be a song about him.

But for those of us who are spiritually inclined, it can certainly be argued that there were various “invisible strings” connecting the pop star and Kells long before the two met. [For example, the lyrics to “Mary's Song” on her debut album say, “I'm 87, you're 89,” and the tight end's jersey number is 87.

And Swift sings in Lover's “Cornelia Street” that “like a streetlight is an arrow leading us home,” but the Kansas City Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium. As if, come on!

Anyway, fans were totally impressed with the sweet mashup, with one fan writing on X: “I'm so glad we met. Superstardom that brought them together years before they met: ...... The inevitability of their awe for each other: ...... But anyway, the ability to see each other clearly through the haze of fame: ...... I'm not well."

Although Swift and Kelsey have been dating for almost a year (time flies!) ), the two are dealing with the extra attention like champions!
