Prince Charles' famous temper tantrum seems to have resurfaced.

King Charles' temper is quite well known, and on Monday, he and Queen Camilla were caught in a torrential downpour at the royal engagement ceremony on the island of Jersey. In a video published in The Independent, Prince Charles and Camilla stepped outside, umbrellas in hand, and the weather was truly inclement. Camilla was holding an umbrella and trying to put on her coat, and the King “appeared to snap at his aides who were trying to help Queen Camilla put on her coat in the heavy rain,” the Independent reported. The king initially tried to help his wife, but became visibly annoyed and gestured to a staff member for help,” the magazine continued.

No moment like this is possible without asking an expert in lip-reading and body language for input. “According to Jackie Press, a lip-reading expert who spoke to the Daily Mail, Charles told Camilla to ‘move her arms behind her back,’ and when that did not work, an aide was was called and the king “came to her aid!” he demanded fiercely.

Body language expert Judy James told the Mirror that Camilla may have “the same kind of relationship with the pen that Charles leaked with the raincoat.” (IYKYK.)

James added, “Charles, stuck with only one arm through his sleeve, tried to turn to help, but only after jutting out his chin to show his irritation. He tugged at her sleeve in impatience, which made things worse, and as in the pen episode, he seemed to turn back in frustration to let one of the staff members do the job for him. Poor Camilla is finally shoved back into the court, but it will be some time before she regains her poise and composure and returns to her regal role”

.

Although this seems completely unrelated, the Mirror reports that Camilla “was actually injured during a visit to Jersey,” adding that the queen “had a bandage on her right ankle. I could see the bandage wrapped around her ankle because of the sprain,” it added during a royal engagement that was part of the couple's two-day visit to the Channel Islands. In addition to Camilla's sprained ankle and apparent coat problems during the torrential downpour, she had to quickly leave the engagement “when a member of the security team came running up and told us that the visit was being terminated.”

The security issue “turned out to be a false alarm” and Prince Charles and Camilla “were soon able to continue with their scheduled engagement program,” the magazine added. Buckingham Palace did not officially comment on what had happened, but it is understood that there were “minor issues of concern,” according to the Daily Mail.

The couple is now back in London for the opening of Parliament.
