Common and Jennifer Hudson are not engaged, but it is definitely a possibility in the future.

The rapper recently appeared on The Breakfast Club and said, “If I was going to get married, I would do it with her. It's easy.”

In another part of the interview, he described his wonderful relationship with Hudson. He said, “This is definitely, with all due respect to all the women I've dated, it's all love.

He went on to explain that he still strives to put his relationship with God first, applying what he has learned from previous relationships and therapy to his love affair with Hudson.

Their bond is especially special, Common said, because they are both from Chicago and understand each other deeply.

“When you're with someone from where you're from, it's a different kind of connection. It's a different kind of thing. She is my spiritual home, my geographical home. She's where I'm from spiritually, where I'm from geographically, and where I'm from as a person.

The lovebirds confirmed their relationship in the sweetest way this January when the rapper made a guest appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

As the Dreamgirls actress teasingly asked, “Are you dating anyone?

“Yes, I'm dating one of the most beautiful people I've ever met in my life,” Common told her. 'She's smart, she loves God, she's down to earth. She's also talented. But I set my standards a little higher. She had to win an Oscar for her first movie. She had to have her own talk show.”

Hudson, by the way, is one of 19 people to have won Emmys, Grammys, Oscars, and Tony EGOTs; the two recently collaborated on the song “A GOD (There Is),” which appears on Common's new album.
