Earlier this month, Blake Lively had a rather racy reaction to a photo of her husband Ryan Reynolds flexing in a muscle tank; according to E! News, instead of flexing in a muscle tank, Reynolds was now holding a dog. And that led the actress to claim that her husband of 12 years is trying to conceive baby number five.

Reynolds took the stage at a recent “Deadpool & Wolverine” event holding “Dogpool,” also known as Peggy or Mary Pappins. (First of all, there is no such thing as an ugly dog, okay?") The image of the pair (Reynolds and the puppy) together made Blake feel a certain way.

Lively wrote “SOS” on her Instagram Story along with a video of her husband and Peggy, adding, “He's trying to get me pregnant again.”

Lively and Reynolds are already parents to daughters James, Inez, and Betty, and the name and gender of their fourth child, due in 2023, have not yet been revealed. Lively added to Reynolds, “Contrary to social K9 expectations, put away that dog you think is cute and take off the fucking teal suit.”

This is “not the first time she has joked about her husband's social media activity about conceiving a baby,” Page Six wrote. “When she said the same thing in 2020, Reynolds jokingly replied that he was 'out of a job' and would 'reply [to messages] as soon as possible when [he] is unlikely to return.'

Reynolds and Peggy attended the “Deadpool & Wolverine” event in London with co-star Hugh Jackman, while Lively is spending time with her co-stars as the August 9 release date for her film “It Ends With Us” approaches. According to People, Lively was dressed in all denim as she went out to dinner with her co-stars at Carbone in New York City; over the weekend, Lively wore a rhinestone-embellished “Self Portrait” denim mini dress and a denim Dries Van Noten trench coat, and cheekily wrote about the look, “You say Canadian prom dress, but I say Britney Bitch.” Of course, she was referring to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's iconic his-and-hers denim fashion moment at the 2001 American Music Awards.

When it comes to her Instagram, Lively has a joke-perhaps Baby No. 5 isn't a joke at all'but time will tell, we suppose.
