Keiko Agena of “Gilmore Girls” has joined the “best boyfriend” controversy surrounding the show.

The actress, who played Rain Kim on the cult drama series, spoke to E! News about which boyfriend is her favorite for her on-screen best friend Rory Gilmore (played by Alexis Bledel).

“I pretty much remain a Team Jess person this whole time,” Agena told the outlet. 'And I don't think I'll ever change.'

About her choice, she continued, “We both loved to read, we both loved books. We loved to challenge each other, and the friction was great fun to watch.”

Jess Mariano was portrayed by Milo Vintimiglia and has an enthusiastic following among fans of the show. Laurie's other main boyfriends are Logan Huntzberger (Matt Chukly) and Dean Forrester (Jared Padalecki).

Agena further told E! News why she likes Jess and Laurie's romance, “I think it's a good thing. In terms of maturity, I think they all had to grow up. When they met, they were young. But we always talk about things and have a burning interest that we can grow together. I feel like that is the foundation of a good relationship."

As the magazine points out, Agena has been married to musician Shin Kawasaki for 18 years, so she knows a little about solid relationships.

The actress appeared in a 2016 revival of Gilmore Girls. Since then, she has appeared in “13 Reasons Why” and “Better Call Saul,” and according to iMDb, has three projects in the works.
