Prince George is intentionally raised differently than his father Prince William.

Say what you will about the Royal Family, but they have learned from their mistakes, especially when it comes to parenting. For example, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis had very different childhoods than their father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry a generation earlier. William and Kate have one plan in particular to help George, the eldest son and heir to the throne, avoid the “pain” that William, also the eldest son and heir to the throne, experienced.

George just turned 11 yesterday and continues to make more appearances with his parents, but according to the Mirror, William and Kate are “still wary about exposing him to too much publicity.” William and Kate are using William's own “painful memories” of his childhood as a blueprint for what to avoid, easing them into “gently” introducing George and his siblings into the spotlight.

“William and Kate have always been wary of exposing their children to public view. William still has painful memories of his childhood and dislikes the persistent attention,” Ingrid Sward, royal biographer and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, told the Mirror. 'Prince George's public entrance into royal life was a gentle one. Kate and William planned it that way and will continue to do so.”

George has been spotted quite frequently this summer at “Trooping the Colour,” Taylor Swift's “Elas Tour,” and sporting events with his father at home and abroad. Yesterday, as is customary, the Crown Prince and Princess released a new photo of their oldest son taken by his mother.

“Like many boys turning 11, Prince George is going through a transition from childhood to adulthood,” Sward said. 'He learned to be a child, and now he is learning to be an adult and to think about himself in new and challenging ways.' But because of his status as a royal prince and future king, George had to grow up faster than most. He was raised to be polite and kind to everyone.”

Sward added, “His great trial came at his coronation. He had to dress up as a page in hot clothes and carry the horns of his grandfather's robes. Since then, he has been relatively free of serious royal events and has been able to enjoy fun events such as Trooping the Colour. To make up for his boring public appearances, George and his father would watch front row soccer Premier League games together. He traveled to Germany with his father, newly elected Chancellor Keir Starmer, and other sports personalities”

.

Although age 11 is not necessarily a milestone birthday, two milestone birthdays coincide. He turned 10 last year, which is a milestone birthday for all children, and he turns 12 next year, which is a milestone birthday for George personally: “At 12, Prince George will no longer be able to travel with his father. “This is because royal regulations do not allow the heir to the throne and the next in line to the throne to travel together,” Seward said. 'But for the next year, the situation will be much the same and Prince George can enjoy flying to Aberdeen for a Balmoral vacation with his entire family.'

Wasn't it just yesterday that this young man was born?
