Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Announce Name of Fourth Child After More Than a Year
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have finally revealed the name of their fourth child.
At the world premiere of their new film “Deadpool & Wolverine” in New York City on Monday, Reynolds took the stage to introduce the film and unceremoniously revealed the name of their youngest child to the world.
“First of all, I want to say thank you to my wife, Blake, who is here.
“I want to thank my children here, James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. With any luck, this moment will be the most traumatic of your wondrous lives, which is what this film is about. I love that my whole family is here.”
Olin was born in early 2023, and his four parents have kept his name secret ever since. Lively found out that she had given birth because she was seen in an Instagram photo last February without her baby bump. She hinted at this major life event with the simple words, “I've been busy.”
The couple's older children are all daughters, James (9), Inez (7), and Betty (4).
Because Swift revealed Betty's name in that song, some fans theorized that she might have done the same thing to Olin somewhere on the album The Tortured Poets Department, but no such luck.
Speaking of Swift, she was mentioned in a recent interview about “Deadpool & Wolverine” when co-star Hugh Jackman joked to E! News that the pop star is the nanny of the Lively-Reynolds family. Reynolds responded, “The cost of that is ...... I think the accountant said, 'It's cost-prohibitive. ' But I think what he meant was, 'The cost is ridiculous.'
“Deadpool & Wolverine” opens in theaters nationwide on July 26.
