Zac Efron assures fans that he is "happy and healthy" after brief hospitalization.
Zac Efron shared some great news after a brief hospital stay last week.
The "Baywatch" actor posted a photo on Instagram Stories on Sunday showing him doing chest presses on a stability ball in swim shorts while on vacation.
He wrote: "Happy and healthy." He wrote.
On Saturday, news broke that Efron had suffered a "minor swimming accident" while using a pool in Ibiza, Spain, on Friday evening, August 2. As TMZ reported, Efron went to the hospital as a precaution but was released Saturday morning.
According to the magazine, Efron has been enjoying a super fun European summer, having been spotted not only in Ibiza and Paris, but also in Saint-Tropez, France and Mykonos, Greece.
It's been a pretty busy few months for the star, with two of his movies due out in 2024: "Ricky Stanicky" with John Cena and Netflix's "A Family Affair" with Nicole Kidman and Joey King. He also co-starred with Jeremy Allen White in "Iron Claw" late last year. He is currently in pre-production on two films.
Meanwhile, Efron was saddened last year by the tragic death of his "17 Again" co-star Matthew Perry in October at age 54. Before his death, Perry had told Efron that he wanted Efron to play him in a biopic, and the high school musical graduate said he was "very honored" to hear it.
