Prince William and Princess Kate decline to hire servants to raise their children on their own, sources say

Prince William and Princess Kate may be royalty, but that doesn't mean the proud parents of three children always want preferential treatment.

According to sources who spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail, the Prince and Princess have refused to enlist the help of a dedicated staff to raise their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

"I think people would be surprised to see something so normal going on at home. 'The children help set the table, clear the plates when they're done eating, and help clean up. There is no preferential treatment."

Prince William and Kate Middleton rely on hiring daytime staff to manage their "busy work schedules" and "after school" hours, according to the magazine. But two years ago, when the family moved from Kensington Palace to Windsor, the couple's former live-in nanny, Teresa Turrion-Bolaro, decided "not to relocate with them."

Despite Middleton's recent cancer diagnosis and continued preventive chemotherapy, the same report states that the Princess of Wales is "determined to ensure that the children's home life is undisturbed" and that their daily activities are "as normal as possible." [Catherine is very natural. [Catherine is] very natural. Home is a safe haven. To make things function as smoothly as possible, she insists that everything is as normal as possible for the children."

"The children are expected to do their chores and stay home," the official added.

Earlier this year, Prince William revealed the chores his children always forget (conveniently or not).

According to Victoria Ward, deputy royal editor of The Daily Telegraph, the Duke of Wales told the press during a visit to Woodgate Valley Urban Farm that "his children always forget to clean their guinea pigs and leave it to him."

Following his wife's cancer diagnosis, the Duke of Wales is said to be "more protective than ever" of his wife Kate Middleton and their three children.

"He has taken special care to prioritize her health and the welfare of his young family, even amid calls for more public appearances," former BBC royal correspondent Jenny Bond recently told The Sun. 'William has a stubborn streak, and when it comes to his family and their privacy, he could not be more stubborn.'
