Snoop Dogg Says Late Queen Elizabeth Was His "Fan"

Iconic rapper and self-proclaimed "MVP" of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics Snoop Dogg says the late Queen Elizabeth was definitely a fan of his.

In a recent interview with DJ Jordan North of British radio station Capital FM, Snoop discussed his relationship with the monarchy and whether senior royals were fans of his music.

"Well, I hear that William, the future king, is a big Snoop fan," DJ North told the California legend, People reported.

"Well, the Queen was a fan too," Snoop interjected, careful not to leave the late queen out of the conversation. 'Rest in peace Queen, she was my girl.

When asked about her plans for a visit to the UK, Snoop said she would not hesitate to "stop by the palace" and "see if they would let me in."

People have been asking Snoop Dogg if he can come to Buckingham Palace without an appointment, because if anyone can get in without an appointment, it might be Snoop Dogg.

As People noted, this is not the first time Snoop Dogg has praised the late Queen, who died on September 8, 2022 at the age of 96.

In an earlier interview with DJ Who Kid, Snoop Dogg defended him in 1994 and presented flowers to Queen Elizabeth after a public push to ban him from visiting the UK.

"Guess who came to my defense? Guess who," Snoop said, referring to the queen who defended the rapper when he was charged with first- and second-degree murder.

"The Queen," Snoop continued. The queen said. 'This man has done nothing in our country. He can come."

Snoop also theorized that it was actually Prince Harry and Prince William who lobbied his grandmother to ban the rapper from entering the country.

"Do you think they didn't say there: 'Grandma, let him in. He's all right. We love his music,'" he said at the time.

Snoop also wrote and released a song in honor of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. The song was in honor of Prince Wale's bachelor party and was aptly titled "Wet."

"When I heard that the Royal Family wanted me to perform in honor of Prince William's wedding, I knew I had to give them a little something," Snoop Dogg said, as Rolling Stone magazine reported at the time." Wet" is the perfect anthem for Prince William and the playa that gets the club going."
