Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son, Pax, taken to hospital after e-bike accident
Pax Tien Jolie-Pitt, son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was involved in a car accident on July 29, TMZ reported. According to the publication, the 20-year-old was reportedly riding an electric bicycle when he was struck behind the wheel of a car in Los Angeles.
A police source confirmed news of the accident to TMZ, reporting that "as he approached a red light, he ran into the back of a stopped car at the intersection." The accident reportedly occurred during rush hour on Los Feliz Boulevard.
Pax was treated by paramedics at the scene, and police officers also responded. A witness told TMZ that Pax was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and "felt pain in his hip and apparently suffered a head injury. As a result, Pax was reportedly taken to a Los Angeles hospital for treatment.
According to TMZ, it was imperative that Pax be examined at the hospital, as "paramedics feared he had suffered a minor brain hemorrhage in the accident." Fortunately, that did not appear to be the case, and the magazine reports that Pax's condition is stable and that he will not require long-term hospitalization.
Pax's accident comes at a tumultuous time in his parents' lives, as Jolie and Pitt's divorce battle drags on. Earlier this month, Jolie's lawyer released a statement in which he said (via E! News), "While Angelina again urges Mr. Pitt to end the dispute and set the family on a clear path toward eventual healing, unless Mr. Pitt drops his lawsuit, Angelina will not be able to obtain the evidence he claims is wrong We have no choice but to obtain the evidence necessary to prove that."
Despite the lengthy legal proceedings, the Maleficent star seems to be in good spirits. A source told People in July 2024, "Angie seems very happy and content with her life." 'She's focused on her kids and her work. She is involved in projects that she really cares about and feels passionate about." We wish Jolie's son Pax a speedy recovery from his accident.
