Sarah Ferguson Shares "Amazing" Photos in Honor of Princess Beatrice's Birthday
Beloved royal Sarah Ferguson has shared an undated photo in honor of Princess Beatrice's birthday.
On Thursday, August 8, the Duchess of York shared a black-and-white throwback photo of the mother-daughter duo, in which a proud mother appears to be kissing the top of Princess Beatrice's head as she cuddles with her mother.
"My wonderful Beatrice, happy birthday. You are the most wonderful daughter, mother, stepmother, sister, wife, and woman!" Ferguson captioned her heartfelt post. 'I am so honored to learn from you every day. You continue to inspire me and those around you with your warmth, curiosity, and zest for life. I love you. Happy Birthday."
Princess Beatrice turned 36 on August 8 and is the proud daughter of Ferguson and embattled royal Prince Andrew; the former couple, who divorced in 1992 after six years of marriage, also have a daughter, Princess Eugenie.
Princess Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, also shared a sweet birthday message on Instagram in honor of her sibling. It included three photos of Beatrice, the two of them together, and Beatrice in full auntie mode wearing bunny ears.
"Happy Birthday dear Bear Bear!" Princess Eugenie captioned the post, using what appears to be an endearing nickname for her sister.
"What an inspiration you are. You paved the way for your little sis," the caption continued. I love you."
In a recent Hello! magazine, proud and protective mother Ferguson opened up about what it was like to share her previous cancer diagnosis with her two daughters.
"I've always raised my daughters to be very honest and forthright, so they know I'm going to tell it to them straight, no matter how difficult it is," the Duchess of York told the magazine at the time. So when my daughters said, "Mom, tell me the truth - did you get all the cancer?" and when the answer was yes, they knew they were safe."
[18"I have the most amazing family, an exceptionally wonderful team, and an enormous capacity for joy," she added.
