Blake Lively talks about what Ryan Reynolds did every week to keep her captivated at the start of their relationship.

Blake Lively has opened up about how her husband, Ryan Reynolds, was a charmer when they first started dating.

In an exclusive interview with the latest issue of People, the actress and proud mom revealed that the "Deadpool" star sent her something special every week when they first started dating.

"When my husband and I first started dating, he would send me flowers every week," she said. But he always sent a card, and it was just a text about something that had happened that week, something funny or touching that one of us had said."

Lively continued that her husband sent her "little words of the week."

"It was so beautiful and romantic," she recalled.

"Now we have 4,000 children.

(They actually share four children - James, Inez, Betty, and Olin - but taking care of four children probably feels at times like taking care of 4,000 wild offspring.)

Lively and Reynolds first met on the set of the not-so-popular superhero film Green Lantern in 2010. At the time, Lively was dating "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley, and Reynolds was married to actress Scarlett Johansson.

Eventually, they ended their previous relationship and began dating; in 2012, they were married in South Carolina at an intimate celebration. The rest, they say, is history. Eleven years later, Reynolds may not be sending Lively flowers and sweet notes every day, but the couple certainly still packs the PDA and finds ways to show each other that the love is still there.

Most recently, at the premiere of "It Ends With Us" in New York City on Tuesday, the actress was caught on camera casually grabbing husband Ryan Reynolds' butt as she turned to the press to answer questions. The gesture was of course caught on camera and shared on social media.

"He didn't even move [sic] as if he already knew it was her," one person commented on TikTok about Reynolds not even turning around after grabbing her butt."

"Relationships where the partners are literally best friends are the best.

"This relationship is one that if it ended, it would be over forever," another user wrote.

"They are so perfect for each other, I can't imagine them not being together. So they better make it last."

"I'm not sure how much longer they can keep it up.

Despite public displays of affection and doting social media posts, Lively was recently forced to shut down rumors that she and Reynolds are headed for divorce.

"You and Ryan need to post more about each other. There were rumors going around that you two were getting divorced, but I didn't believe them. Because you two are literally the perfect couple," one fan commented on Lively's recent Instagram post of her kissing Reynolds as his comic character, Deadpool.

Lively quickly replied, "Ha ha, they wish," with a laughing and crying emoji.

They wish indeed!
