A veterinarian who offered Ryan Reynolds a free belly rub is threatening to "take back this offer."
Fame has its perks, but I never realized until now that getting a free belly rub was one of those perks.
Still, for Ryan Reynolds, the offer of a belly rub is such a rare occurrence that he felt compelled to respond to the one offer that caught his eye.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Sunday, the Deadpool and Wolverine actor posted a photo of a sign outside a veterinary clinic called Okanagan Animal Hospital in Kelowna, British Columbia: "Pets and Ryan Reynolds only.
This was obviously intended as a joke, but Reynolds wrote in his story, "Don't think I won't come in exchange for this offer. Belly rubs are the reason I became a golden retriever in the first place."
He also tagged the vet clinic for a little extra free publicity.
Reynolds certainly qualifies for the "Golden Retriever" category of boyfriend and husband in many ways. Most notably, he is a very loving partner to Blake Lively, who lets him meet her musical heroes, among others.
Meanwhile, the Canadian actor is known to be a huge dog lover and has owned several dogs over the years, including a Golden named Baxter.
Most recently, the top news for Reynolds and canines is that the actor's latest film, Deadpool & Wolverine, has cast a rather special person to play Dogpool. So, that's some healthy news to start the week! See you then!
