Prince Harry Still Feels “Hurt by Family,” Relationship with Royals Still Difficult, Report Says
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's feud with the royal family appears to be continuing through 2024. Now GB News digital royal editor Sval Nannan-Sen suggests that the Duke of Sussex's “relationships are in tatters” amid reports that Harry hopes to return to the UK soon.
Speaking on GB News' podcast “The Royal Record,” Nanan-Sen said, “When Prince Harry returns to any event, he will be asked, ‘Will I meet the King?’ ‘Will I meet Prince William?’ 'It's the same family story over and over again,' they continued.” Of course, it was recently reported that Harry would miss his uncle's funeral amid ongoing security concerns. But it is clear that if the Duke of Sussex were to return home anytime soon, questions would be raised about the prince.
“Perhaps Prince Harry has dug himself a bit of a hole here,” Nanan Sen explains.
“Clearly, Prince Harry feels hurt by his family, hurt that his security has been downgraded, and feels he's been badly mistreated.
GB News' royal editor also does not expect Prince Harry's problems to be resolved in the near future. They point out, “But until we get a decision from the Court of Appeals, it's really tenuous as to how the situation will be resolved, especially in terms of security.” 'Because at the moment we are still waiting for their decision on whether they will change their security if it is illegal.'
Prince Harry recently revealed that he believes it would “still be dangerous” to bring Meghan Markle back to the UK without proper security. The family's security concerns have affected their return to the UK, making it difficult for the Sussex couple to travel safely with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilliette.
Prince Harry has been the subject of numerous lawsuits in recent years. Not only has he sued several British tabloids for covering Prince Harry and interfering in his life, but Prince Harry has also launched a legal attack, claiming that his family is not safe.
Just last month, sources close to the family suggested that the Duchess of Sussex wanted Harry to stay away from legal pursuits. 'She wants Harry to be free from all of this, but she knows he can't because of what he has been through and because of her love [for Harry and the children],' a former Arkwell Foundation official told People. The source continued, “She wants him to live in a world where he is not burdened by this.”
