Kylie Jenner says she became a mom young and suffered from “prolonged postpartum depression.
Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner has opened up about her experience with postpartum depression after giving birth to two children.
In a recent interview with British Vogue, the proud mom of two revealed that having children at a young age was “really hard” mentally and physically.
“Stormy lasted a year,” she told the publication, referring to her experience of postpartum depression after giving birth to her now 6-year-old daughter.
“I'm 27 years old and I'm just finally getting back to being myself, but (in retrospect) I was wearing sweatpants every day of my pregnancy, I didn't even have time to figure out the little things in my life, and postpartum lasted a year,” sh continued. “It's really hard mentally. Hormonally it was really hard. I didn't even know how to dress.”
Jenner was 19 when she found out she was pregnant with her first child, and she became a mom for the first time when she was 20.
