Jordan Childs' Appeal for Bronze Medal Rejected

On Monday, USA Gymnastics released a statement saying that its appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to return the medals stripped from Childs has been rejected.

“USA Gymnastics was notified by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Monday that the CAS rules that it will not allow reconsideration of an arbitral award, even if conclusive new evidence is presented. The comments section was flooded with support for Childs, with one person writing, “It is absolutely ridiculous that she is suffering the consequences of a judging error, please keep backing USAGYM!”

Another said, “You are making a mockery of the gymnastics community. I hope Jordan Childs is surrounded by love and support. Thank you for fighting for her."
