Jennifer Lopez reportedly went to Ben Affleck's Los Angeles home a few days before his birthday.

After spending most of the summer away, a source said that on August 11, Lopez headed to Affleck's rental home in Brentwood, where she has been staying for the past few months. However, while his estranged wife was visiting, Affleck was actually there, apparently for the purpose of Lopez meeting her husband's children. He and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner have Violet (18), Finn (15), and Samuel (12).

“Just because [J.Lo] isn't with Ben doesn't mean she doesn't care about his kids,” a source told People. 'She has always cared about her children. She spent months last year searching for the perfect home for their blended family. Now that she is back in Los Angeles, she hopes to spend quality time with her children before school starts back up and Violet goes off to college”

According to sources, Lopez also took her stepson Samuel to the mall that day. Violet was also seen wearing her mother-in-law's dress on Monday.

According to People, this was the first time the couple had seen each other in several weeks; since rumors of their divorce spread around mid-May, they have only been seen together a handful of times, with Lopez traveling to Europe and the Hamptons, and Affleck staying in Los Angeles for the summer Lopez traveled to Europe and the Hamptons, while Affleck stayed in Los Angeles for the summer.

The couple will be apart for Lopez's birthday on July 24, and it is unclear if they will spend Affleck's 52nd birthday together this coming Thursday.

As for housing, the couple put the couple's house on the market a few weeks ago, and the Zillow listing is still live. Affleck has reportedly purchased a new $20 million home, and Lopez is said to be house hunting.

Still, despite such dire signs in their relationship, neither couple has directly mentioned their supposed separation.
