Since the release of her hit song “Espresso” in April of this year, actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter has changed a lot.

But the biggest change, she says, has been the singer's coffee order... There's a reason for that.

In an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1 on Thursday, August 22, Carpenter revealed that her hit song “Espresso” made her second-guess herself when ordering from the barista.

“Every time I see a cafe, it says espresso. It has nothing to do with me,” she said at the time, adding that the usually mundane coffee shop interaction now makes her feel ”stupid.” [I didn't invent espresso,]” she continued.

“Italians are very angry.
