After months of rumors of a breakup, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20. She chose this date because it was the second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia.

Sources then made a number of claims, with some suggesting that Lopez was “tired of being humiliated” by her husband. One report now claims that Affleck assured Lopez that he was a “changed man,” but that cracks began to appear as soon as they married.

In response to Page Six, one source claimed, “He sold her on the idea that he was a changed man, but that was very short-lived.” According to the magazine's source, Affleck allegedly changed while on his honeymoon in Lake Como, Italy, in 2022. 'He complained about being followed by paparazzi. 'She was an international superstar and he acted as if it was a surprise that they were following him around.'

The outlet's source also suggested that behind closed doors, Lopez and Affleck's relationship was not exactly a fairy tale.
