Nicole Kidman praises director for “not feeling exploited” during sex scene in “Baby Girl”.

Nicole Kidman opened up about her new film “Baby Girl” and how the director put her at ease during the film's most intimate scenes.

At a press conference before the film's debut at the Venice International Film Festival on Friday, August 30, actress Nicole Kidman said that writer/director Halina Raine made shooting the film's sex scenes a whole lot different.

“Being in Halina's hands made it more compelling,” Kidman said. 'I mean, no matter how anyone interpreted it, I didn't feel exploited. I felt like I was part of this film. It's a story I wanted to be part of; it's a story I wanted to tell. And every part of me was committed to that.”

The actress went on to say that “a great deal of care was taken” during the filming process, adding that the cast and crew were “all very, very kind and helpful to each other.”

In the film, Kidman plays a highly paid CEO who decides to risk his career and family in order to begin an affair with a younger intern, played by Harris Dickinson. [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...]
