Kendall Jenner Returns to the New York Fashion Week Runway in '90s-Style Tube Top Look for Alaia
Kendall Jenner made a triumphant return to New York Fashion Week, paying homage to the American style of the past and walking the show in new and interesting ways.
On Friday, September 6, the model and reality TV star arrived at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York to walk the Alaia fashion show. Upon arrival, Jenner wore a simple white crop top, long black shorts, a leather black jacket, and black shades.
She then walked the show wearing a 90s-style beige tube top with black parachute-like pants, black sandals, and a black oversized bag. [According to Women's Wear Daily, the show was the first hosted by the Guggenheim Museum in its 85-year history, making Jenner's return to the NYFW runway all the more special.
Her appearance at the show was also in line with what designer Pieter Murier aimed for in the first night of New York Fashion Week, and was appropriate as it offered “his take on American sportswear with an Alaia-style twist,” the magazine reported.
