Kate Middleton hints at future return to work during cancer battle
Kate Middleton, who has been on leave from her royal duties to recover from cancer treatment, made a rare statement about her work on social media on Friday, September 6.
The royal, who was appointed co-chair of UK Scouts in 2020 along with the Duke of Kent, wrote a message on the Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram story celebrating the youth organization's new milestone.
“Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as our new UK Chief Scout,” she wrote, sharing a photo of adventurer and TV host Dwayne Fields' UK Scouts.
“Scouts is such an amazing organization, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country,” the princess added.
Princess Catherine added, “I look forward to working with all of you!” and concluded her message by signing her name with her first initial, “C.”
The Princess of Wales shared the same message on X, this time reposting a video of Fields talking about her years of experience in UK Scouts.
