Prince William's beard appears to be back
Prince William is back to his bearded days.
On Thursday, September 5, after his summer vacation at Balmoral, he visited the exhibition “Homelessness: Reframed” at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
William, 42, made headlines last month when he showed off his facial hair on Instagram at the Paris Olympics, but when the prince was spotted driving to church in Scotland on August 25, his beard was nowhere to be seen.
At the time, many fans lamented the end of his beard era, with one fan writing on X: “The Prince is a very good man. 'Princess Catherine decided to have him shaved after seeing all the women on the Internet swooning over her husband's beard.'
Luckily for royal facial hair lovers, the Prince of Wales was rocking some serious stubble when he attended Thursday's engagement ceremony.
The exhibition was organized in conjunction with the Prince's “Homewards” project, which, according to the “Homewards” initiative, aims to “use the power of art to increase public understanding of homelessness and inspire optimism that we can end it.”
The Crown Prince viewed works from graffiti artist Opake to spoken word poet Surfing Sofas.
Speaking of bearded royals, Prince William ran into his brother Prince Harry just last week at the funeral of his uncle, Sir Robert Fellowes, but according to attendees, the two did not interact.
“William and Harry were both there, but I never saw them speak to each other and they kept their distance,” a source told The Sun.
