Travis Kells Reveals Sweet Nickname for Girlfriend Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce let slip a sweet nickname for his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, while discussing his memorable “Eras” tour cameo.

In an interview on The Rich Eisen Show on Tuesday, September 3, the three-time Super Bowl champion discussed her performance on the London “Eras” tour and, either intentionally or accidentally, called Swift by the assumed nickname.

“‘Wait, you really want to do this?’ ' There was definitely something extra like that,” the NFL star said at the time, referring to his surprise appearance on stage while Swift was performing her hit ‘I Can Do It with a Broken Heart’ in June.

“But she had a lot of fun, and you're always welcome to have fun on stage with Tay Tay,” he continued, revealing his endearing nickname for Swift.

The tight end went on to share details about his performance, including how his girlfriend (who knows a thing or two about selling out stadiums around the world) prepared him for his big debut.

“Taylor knew I was going to have some fun when the lights came on,” Kelsey explained.

“She put me in a position where I didn't have to do a lot for her to succeed. She placed me in a really comfortable part of the show and I was just there to not mess anything up."

Kels explained.

Kells stated that he “certainly” wanted to join his girlfriend on stage, and continued that he was primarily worried about accidentally dropping Swift after being tasked with picking her up and walking her to the props couch on stage.

“That would have been the most embarrassing thing I ever did,” he continued. 'Getting her to the couch was the hardest part.'

On the July episode of Kelce's hit podcast “New Heights,” Travis Kelce, who co-hosts with his brother, retired NFL player Jason Kelce, opened up about his biggest fear on stage on the “Eras” tour, dropping Swift

“I told myself, 'Don't drop the baby. Don't drop Taylor on the way to this shitty couch,'” he said. ' The golden rule was to get Taylor to the couch safely without dropping her."

In a lengthy Instagram post in late June after Swift finished the European leg of her history-making “Eras” tour, the pop star commented on her boyfriend's onstage cameo.

“Still cracking up over @killatrav's Eras tour debut. These shows will never be forgotten.”
