Kate Middleton has “mixed feelings” about her kids going back to school this week
Kate Middleton may be facing mixed feelings this week as all three of her children with Prince William return to school. [Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, attend Lamb Look School in Berkshire, and royal expert and former BBC royal correspondent Jenny Bond, who announced in March that she was undergoing preventive treatment for cancer, told Kate what that means for her She spoke to The Sun about what it means for Kate, who announced in March that she was undergoing preventive treatment for cancer.
“I think, as any young mother of a child would, she probably views the start of the summer holidays with some trepidation,” Bond said. And, of course, private schools have very long vacations.”
In other words, Kate's mixed feelings about her children returning to school are not about the royal family, but about her mother.
“So maybe it's a mixture of sadness that the kids can't enjoy a free vacation yet, but for Lady Catherine, it's relief that school is finally over and she can get her school stuff done and then go back to bed for a few hours,” Bond added.
“And I think that's common with a lot of young women these days.”
As for the relief side of that equation, Bond says it was for Kate's cancer treatment and had nothing to do with her royal duties.
“But of course, for Lady Catherine, as far as we know, she is still undergoing cancer treatment, and as she herself has said, there are good days and bad days, and the vacation could have been a bit taxing,” Bond explained.
Throughout Kate's cancer treatment, royal experts and officials agree that protecting George, Charlotte, and Louis is a top priority for her and William.
“He's going to be the anchor for the children,” Anderson said. 'They are protecting the children. They are looking out for the well-being of the children above all else.”
