Prince George is growing up fast. Prince George, now 11 years old, is the second in line of succession to the British throne. If his father, Prince William, becomes king, George will be the heir to the throne. Therefore, his childhood seems to be a little different from other children.

According to new reports, Princess Kate is making sure her eldest son is prepared for his future role. After all, learning that one day he will be monarch is quite a lot to digest.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine, royal expert Phil Dampier said, “For the most part, he enjoys the life of an upper-middle-class person and spends a lot of time with Kate's family, the Middletons.” Dampier continued, “But he is growing up fast, and William and Kate are slowly preparing him for his role.”

According to the royal author, Prince George's confidence is growing as he participates in major royal family events.
