Prince Harry's tribute to his late uncle leaves attendees “awestruck”
Prince Harry and Prince William attended the August 29 funeral of their uncle, Sir Robert Fellowes, as a surprise, the BBC previously reported. And according to new reports, the invited guests were overjoyed that the Duke of Sussex was able to attend to pay his respects to his late relative, even though he lives in California.
Lord Fellowes' memorial service was held at St. Mary's Church in Snettisham, Norfolk, near the royal family's Sandringham estate, as reported by the BBC; according to People magazine, one attendee at the funeral said, “Most people were surprised that Harry came He explained, “I was very happy to see everyone. I could tell he was very happy to see everyone. And he was very happy that he had come”.
While back in the UK, Prince Harry stayed at Althorpe House, Princess Diana's ancestral home, demonstrating how important family ties are to Harry. The Duke of Sussex was also able to reunite with Princess Diana's siblings, Mrs. Jane Fellowes, Charles Spencer, and Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
A source told People about Prince Harry's decision to return to the UK for his uncle's funeral. Another source said of Harry's attendance, “Given the health of his family, I think he wants to spend time with people. He is very close to his maternal family.”
Pastor Dan Tansey, who attended the funeral, previously told The Sun, “It wasn't a tremendous shock that William was there, because that was always a possibility, but I think it was more of a surprise that Harry was there.”

According to The Daily Beast, Harry has many friends in the U.S. and will not be returning to his senior life anytime soon. On the contrary, the Duke of Sussex seems content with his family life in America.
