Princess Kate has gone viral on TikTok thanks to a hilarious response she gave to a fan in 2013.

One TikTok user shared an appropriate video clip of Kate Middleton on the social media platform, and it seems viewers can't get enough of it. In the video footage, the Princess of Wales is seen greeting fans during an official royal visit to Grimsby in 2013. During her outing, Kate shook hands with one woman, who said, “I'm waiting for you to become queen!” She said with a longing look in her eyes.

Without a pause, Princess Kate replied, “You will have to wait a very long time!” I replied.

At the time, Queen Elizabeth showed no signs of weakness. As far as Queen Kate was concerned, it was going to be decades before she became queen alongside her husband, the future King, Prince William.

Queen Elizabeth died on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96, and Prince William's father, Charles III, ascended the British throne. The year before, the Queen's beloved husband, Prince Philip, died on April 9, 2021.
