Royal fans around the world breathed a sigh of relief when Kate Middleton announced on September 9 that she had completed her cancer treatment -- and with that good news, the princess shared a rarely seen moment with her parents in a touching new video.

“As the summer draws to a close, I can't tell you how relieved I am to finally be done with chemotherapy.

The video continued to show scenes of the princess enjoying time outdoors with Prince William and their three children before the family stopped by to meet Carole and Michael Middleton.

In the video, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis (sitting adorably on their father's lap) gather around a table and play cards with their parents and grandparents.

Carole and Michael Middleton have been known as hands-on grandparents from the beginning, and Carole, a proud grandmother, has been seen several times taking young Prince George to the zoo and park.

However, while the Middletons have attended royal functions in the past, including the Princess's “Together at Christmas” concert and King Charles' coronation, their appearance in this video represents a rather personal turn for the Welsh couple's social media.

Royal watchers seem enamored with the couple's new approach, as one person posted on X that the video was “absolutely lovely,” adding, “We've never seen them like this or at home with the Middleton family.”

“What a beautiful, strong, loving family. I love the scene where they are playing cards with Mr. and Mrs. Middleton. They are firmly grounded,” another fan wrote on X.

“So happy to see you spending time with Mr. and Mrs. Middleton too!” Another social media user commented on Princess Wales' X post, adding, “I believe they have been a really good role model and sturdy support for you over the years.”

The princess's brother, James Middleton, also jumped in on the Instagram comments, writing, “I couldn't be more proud ❤️.”

Aside from a surprise cameo from Middleton and his wife, the video shows the Welsh family spending quality time on the beach and in the woods, with the mother of three laughing with Princess Charlotte at the end as they enter the water.

“My focus now is to do what I can to remain cancer-free,” Princess Wales said. 'My chemotherapy is over, but the road to healing and full recovery is a long one, and I have to take it one day at a time.'
