Earlier this year, Princess Kate stepped down from her royal public duties after announcing her cancer diagnosis; in July, she attended Wimbledon with her daughter Princess Charlotte. Now, Kate shared an emotional update about her family and her own health in an Instagram reel shot by Will Waugh.

On Monday, Kate Middleton shared a personal video clip of her family on Instagram with a caption referencing her cancer treatment. 'As the summer draws to a close, I can't tell you how relieved I am to finally be done with chemotherapy. The last nine months have been incredibly difficult for our family. As you know, life can change in an instant and we have had to find our way through rough waters and unknown paths."[3

The adorable video showed Princess Kate and Prince William holding hands and cuddling as they enjoyed the outdoors. It also showed the children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, playing games, running in the fields, and spending time with their parents. The family was also joined by Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who were enjoying an indoor card game. Most importantly, the footage is evidence that the Crown Prince and Princess prioritized family time during what must have been an incredibly frightening time.

As public figures, George, Charlotte, and Louis are often photographed at official royal events such as Trooping the Colour. However, Princess Kate's intimate posts show that the Welsh family spends time away from prying eyes and enjoying each other's company.

In a candid caption, Princess Kate also wrote, “More than anything, this time reminded William and I to reflect on and appreciate the simple yet important things in life that many of us tend to take for granted. To simply love and be loved.”

She continued, “My focus now is to do what I can to stay cancer free. My chemotherapy is over, but the road to healing and full recovery is long and I must take it one day at a time.”

The Princess of Wales also indicated that she is preparing to return to official royal duties within the next few months. She stated, “I am, however, looking forward to getting back to work and making a few more public appearances where possible in the coming months.”

Royal fans will, of course, be delighted to get a glimpse into the Prince and Princess of Wales' life at home. And most importantly, George, Charlotte, and Louis look so happy to be spending time with their parents.
