Blake Lively Debuts Sheer Dress for First Time at Taylor Swift and Travis Kells' Double Date
Actress Blake Lively was a monochrome goddess during her recent double date with Taylor Swift and Travis Kells.
On Friday, October 11, actress Blake Lively was spotted in Soho with husband Ryan Reynolds.
For the child-free night out, Lively looked to usher in fall alone via a stunning maroon mesh set featuring bold side slits and matching maroon fishnet tights and dress.
To complete the witchy look, the It Ends with Us star rocked maroon Valentino Soul Rockstud lace-up heel boots and a matching shoulder bag. Like her best friend Swift, Lively wore her hair in retro Hollywood waves, adding a touch of old-school elegance to her monotone look.
And of course, Swift paired a Gucci corset in skin-colored fabric with lace transparencies with a leather mini skirt for the BFF couple's night out.
The pair's Friday night out was not the first time the couple enjoyed a double date night.
In the summer, the foursome enjoyed some time together in Rhode Island on August 24 after Swift celebrated the end of the European leg of her history-making Eras tour.
The mother of four also joined Swift at the Super Bowl earlier this year to cheer on the Kels and the Kansas City Chiefs to a 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, ensuring their winning streak.
On the biggest night of football, Lively wore an Adidas x Balenciaga tracksuit with yellow gold Tiffany jewelry accents for a Sporty Spice-inspired look.
In an August 6 interview with TODAY co-host Shaynel Jones, Lively opened up about her friendship with Swift and what makes the pop star so special.
“To talk about a woman in large numbers and a woman who knows both strength and vulnerability, a woman who knows how to step into herself and her story and show others what it looks like, and how to be that example and share herself with people - I mean, it's deeply moving,” the actor told the co-hosts at the time.
“It's incredible to see someone do that in real life,” she continued. 'So I can see why she means so much to so many people. She means that much to me, as a fan, and separately as a friend."
”I'm so proud of her, and I'm so proud of her.
