Princess Kate cheers on her son, Prince Louis, in a rare public appearance.
It turns out that Princess Kate is not only the future Queen of England, but also a bona fide soccer mom!
According to several media outlets, including GB News and the Daily Express, the Princess of Wales made a rare public appearance over the weekend to cheer on her youngest son, Prince Louis, at a recent soccer match.
Express reports that a royal watcher spotted Kate Middleton in the audience and later elaborated on her surprise appearance on TikTok.
“You wouldn't believe it,” the user said. “Most weekends I take my son to watch a soccer game. And we went to the soccer game as usual, but when we arrived there were a lot of people chatting and it was a little weird, not the usual atmosphere.
“And I went up to one of my friends, who I see there every week, and I said, ‘What's going on, what's all the excitement, it's just a soccer game,’” the surprised fan continued. “And I couldn't believe what she said. She said, 'Turn around and there [is] Princess Kate.'”
Middleton's rare public appearance came on the heels of another surprise appearance: a joint appearance with her husband, Prince William, to meet with families affected by the tragic knife attack that killed three girls during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England, this summer, and the This follows a meeting with paramedics.
The royal visit was the first official outing for the royal family since Princess Kate announced that she had successfully completed chemotherapy for an unspecified cancer diagnosis.
“As the summer draws to a close, I cannot tell you how relieved I am to finally finish chemotherapy,” Middleton said in a video shared via Kensington Palace's official social media accounts.
“The past nine months have been incredibly difficult for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find our way through rough waters and unknown paths,” she continued. She continued, “The cancer journey is complicated, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. It humbles us and forces us to confront our own vulnerabilities in a way we never thought possible before, and it gives us a new perspective on everything."
[18In her post-chemotherapy announcement, Princess Kate said that being “cancer-free” was her “focus,” but also that she was “looking forward to getting back to work and being a little more public.”
So whether on the football pitch or in another official capacity, royal fans are likely to see more of the Princess of Wales in the near future.
