If there was any doubt whether Jennifer Lopez is the queen of the revenge dress, the singer and actress is trying to quash it.

The in-your-face actress walked the red carpet in an eye-popping nude dress at the premiere of “Wicked” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 9.

The halter gown, featuring jewel embellishment and bold side cutouts, was from the runway of Zuhair Murad's Spring/Summer 2024 Couture collection. Styled by Rob Zangardi and Marielle Henn, Lopez completed her red carpet look with jewelry by Sabiyasachi.

Since news broke that Lopez had filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage, on the anniversary of their wedding in Georgia in 2022, she has appeared in revenge dress after revenge dress to show the public (and perhaps her former lover) that her public breakup has has shown that she has not let it get her down.

On Friday, September 6, Lopez attended the premiere of her new film, Unstoppable, produced by Affleck's company Artist Equity, at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival at Roy Thomson Hall.

Her attendance came shortly after news of her impending divorce became public.

For the occasion, Lopez chose to wear a bold silver Tamara Ralph gown with a head-to-toe side slit fastened with a large black bow. When she stopped by the media tent to answer questions from the press, Lopez told People that she did not feel confident wearing a nearly nude gown when walking the red carpet.

“There was a debate about whether I should wear it or not,” Lopez told the magazine about the Revenge dress. 'And I was like, fuck, that's it.'

(Affleck missed the premiere and was instead spotted in Los Angeles, where he lives.)

After the premiere, she posted a series of photos of her daring gown on Instagram, with a simple caption appropriate to the occasion.

“Unstoppable,” Lopez wrote.

Of course, Lopez is not limiting her “Revenge” attire to just red carpet-worthy gowns; when she reunited with Affleck in September, the actress wore a casual yet chic black long-sleeved turtleneck crop top with her favorite fall denim trend She was spotted wearing flared jeans, one of her favorite fall denim trends.

Her reunion (and definitely revenge) crop top was a subtler touch than the white turtleneck crop top she wore in Los Angeles a few days earlier that same month. The singer and actress paired the cream-colored pants with dark, high-heeled, fall-appropriate boots and a top that accentuated her abdomen.

Of course, she accessorized her “revenge” outfit with her iconic (and expensive) crocodile Birkin.

Recently, Affleck commented on her ex-lover's performance in her upcoming film, Unstoppable, telling Entertainment Tonight, “Jennifer is amazing. [The film] is another one that we're really, really proud of.”
