Taylor Swift's Battle of the Chiefs outfit with Louboutin cowboy boots and Dior saddlebags makes her a rich horsegirl
Twenty-four hours after her last concert in the United States in 2024, Taylor Swift changed from her Eras tour outfit to a Chiefs game outfit to watch Monday Night Football. This time she was both a Chiefs fan and a horse girl.
Taylor Swift appeared at Arrowhead Stadium on November 4 to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce, the centerpiece of two country outfits: knee-high Christian Louboutin cowboy boots and a matte black coated Dior saddlebags.
Louboutin, as Swift fans know, designed all 250+ pairs of custom shoes she wears on her Eras tour. As for Dior, Swift is a new fan of the French maison, most recently carrying a black Dior saddle bag with gold hardware on her New York date with Kels in October.
The “Mastermind” singer's remaining outfits left “Mastermind” fans (including you) wondering how much of her look was a Hollywood-approved ten-gallon hat tip to the Horsegirl Renaissance and how much was a nod to the remaining two albums in her re-recording project ) left fans wondering. Styled by Joseph Cassel Falconer, Taylor Swift's outfit for the Chiefs also included a vintage leather bomber jacket, a semi-sheer mu-gray bodysuit, and agolde black hot shorts cinched with a belt from The Row. The all-black color scheme and oversized jackets were similar to Swift's “Reputation”-era outfits. Louboutin cowboy boots and a Dior saddle bag evoked the Nashville roots of her debut album. The loose waves and thick black eyeliner also seemed to be a mashup of beauty looks from the two eras. Let the debut tation forecasting theories begin.
Easter eggs for Swift's latest game-day outfit are up to the fans for now. What is clear is the singer's new appreciation for visible designer labels and megawatt jewelry. From vintage T-shirt dresses to denim corsets, as in previous looks for the Chiefs, Swift accessorized with flashy luxury pieces that could be seen from across the stadium's 50-yard line. This time, she wore Louis Vuitton hoop earrings, a ruby and gold Effie ring, and a gold choker nameplate necklace with “Chanel” written in bold white letters.
Swift was not the only one in the box seats to adopt the red and gold dress code for the evening. Her mother, Andrea Swift, wore a “Chiefs Era” badge to cheer on her daughter's boyfriend from the stands.
Whether or not Taylor Swift puts a message into her attire for the Chiefs game, she moves the market anyway. The sparkly freckles she wore to the last game in October instantly saw a 2,500% sales spike after fans tracked down the brand behind them. Meanwhile, Saks Fifth Avenue already has a bestseller sticker on its inventory of the shoes Swift wore on game day. While the debut is still some way off, the cowboy boot attire will be seen everywhere.
