Ryan Reynolds 'Rocked' and 'Proud' of Blake Lively Amid 'It Ends With Us' Ordeal

Since Blake Lively's sexual harassment lawsuit against her “IT Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni, many celebrities have voiced their support for Blake Lively, but according to sources close to the two, the real pillar of her support is her husband Ryan Reynolds

“Ryan Reynolds is the real pillar of her support.

“Ryan has always been her rock,” the source told People two days after news of Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni, who also directed IT ENDS WITH US. 'They have a very special relationship. He is very proud of her in many ways.”

Now that she has filed the lawsuit and made public the extent of her negative experiences working on the film, which according to her complaint was “a hostile work environment that nearly derailed the production,” the actress is taking time off to focus on her family (daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and son Olin ( 1 year old), taking much-needed time to focus on her family.

“She's trying to focus solely on making Christmas special for her children,” People's source said of Lively, adding that she will not be speaking publicly about the harassment again for the time being. For now, she has said what she needs to say.”

Lively may have nothing else to add for now, but the lawsuit has prompted several other celebrities to speak out in support of the actress, including her “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-star, sister Robin Lively, and actress Amber Heard.

“As Blake's friend and sister for over 20 years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation,” said Lively's “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-stars Amber Tamblyn, Amecia Ferrera and Alexis Bledel, said in a joint statement released on Instagram. Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we have watched her courageously seek a safe workplace for herself and her colleagues on set. Most infuriating is the unabashed use of a domestic violence survivor's story to silence a woman who sought safety. The hypocrisy is astounding.”

Heard, whose ex-husband Johnny Depp reportedly hired the same PR crisis manager as Baldoni during Heard and Depp's public court battle, issued his own statement to NBC News in support of Lively, saying, “Social media has become a place where 'before the truth puts on its boots, the lie perfectly embodies the classic proverb, 'Halfway around the world. I have seen this firsthand and up close. It is both destructive and frightening at the same time.”

As for Lively herself, she issued her own statement about the lawsuit in The New York Times, which reported on the situation and Baldoni's crisis management team.

“I hope my legal action will help bring an end to these sinister retaliatory tactics that hurt those who speak out about misconduct and help protect others who may be targeted,” she said.
