There are at least two more Royal Family members who will not be participating in this year's traditional Christmas walk.

The Royal Family's traditional Christmas gathering at Sandringham made more headlines this year than usual amid Prince Andrew's latest scandal. But last week it was reported that Prince Andrew and the rest of the family would not be coming to Norfolk, but it appears there has been a change of plans. Princess Beatrice, her husband, and their two children will be heading to Sandringham after all, but it appears that tradition has changed a bit.

As confirmed by several media outlets, pregnant Princess Beatrice was supposed to travel to Italy to spend Christmas with her husband Edoardo “Edo” Mapelli Mozzi's family, but her doctors advised her not to travel long distances for health reasons. He will spend Christmas with the rest of the Royal Family, with the exception of his father and mother, Sarah Ferguson, who withdrew from the gathering after it was discovered that Lord York had ties to the alleged “Chinese spy” Yang Zheng (楊戩).

Princess Beatrice's 3-year-old daughter Sienna and 8-year-old stepdaughter Wolfie will also join the celebration.

However, royal fans looking forward to catching a glimpse of the princess in her maternity fashions may be disappointed to hear that they may not see her on Christmas Day; People reported that the princess “will likely not be attending the church walk,” and Hello!” reported that young Sienna plans not to attend the service.

As the media outlet noted, Prince Louis first joined his family at church at age 4. Princess Charlotte made her debut at the Sandringham Walk at the same age, so perhaps Sienna will join next year.

The addition of Beatrice and her family brings this year's Sandringham guest list to nearly 50. Prince William recently told invited guests at a military Christmas party that the royal family will welcome 45 people to the Norfolk estate this year.

Buckingham Palace announced Princess Beatrice's second pregnancy on October 1, sharing a sweet photo of Beatrice and her family in the process. The Palace said, “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child in early spring.

We wish them a quiet and happy Christmas as they become second mothers.
