Blake Lively, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars 'on her side' in lawsuit with Justin Baldoni

In a fitting display of eternal sisterly bonding, Blake Lively's “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-stars America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn are supporting her in the midst of the sexual harassment allegations against Justine Baldoni.

The actresses issued a joint statement on Instagram to Lively, who recently filed a sexual harassment lawsuit alleging that Baldoni engaged in misconduct during the production of the film “It Ends With Us” and then made a concerted effort to discredit her when she spoke publicly about the matter declared her support for the company.

Ferrera, Tamblyn, and Bledel wrote in a statement:

“As Blake's friends and sisters for over 20 years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign to discredit her. We stand with her; during the filming of It Ends with Us, we have watched her courageously seek a safe workplace for herself and her colleagues on the set. Most infuriating is the unabashed use of a domestic violence survivor's story to silence a woman who sought safety. The hypocrisy is astounding.

“We are shocked by the reality that even if women are as strong, admired, and resourceful as our friend Blake, they can face forceful retribution for daring to seek a safe work environment. We are inspired by our sister's courage to stand up for herself and others.

“Anyone seeking more information or participating in this important conversation online should read the full legal complaint in the New York Times' investigative report by Megan Toohey, Mike McIntyre and Julie Tate.

In a separate post on her Instagram Story, Tamblyn re-shared the group's joint statement, adding that she was Lively's “confidant” while Lively was going through some of the experiences detailed in the lawsuit and “how incredibly I remember how incredibly painful it was for her.”

“I'm glad that solid reporting and receipts have brought all of this to light,” she said. Please read the full article and especially the linked legal complaint,” Tamblyn added, urging followers to learn more about the case, along with a link to the New York Times report.
