It's official: Dua Lipa is engaged.

Earlier this week, reports broke that Dua Lipa got engaged to her boyfriend Callum Turner over the Christmas vacations. Days later, neither has confirmed or denied the marriage. Ripa, however, posted an incredibly pointed photo dump featuring a sparkling diamond ring.

In photos released on New Year's Eve, Lipa wears a black lace catsuit for a night out with friends; in three of the 11 photos, she holds a dirty martini to the camera, her diamond ring in full view. Given the timing and the fact that her jewelry of choice is usually an $83,000 Tiffany necklace, this accessory is particularly noteworthy.

The sparkler in question appears to be a signet-style diamond ring set on a chunky yellow gold band.

Statement bands have been a trend in engagement rings since Emily Rutkowski showed off her handmade cigar wedding band in 2018. The choice has influenced a whole generation of brides to consider more non-traditional engagement styles - and it has brought unexpected styles like signets into the mainstream.

A few slides later, Ripa showed off the rest of her look as well (even if she wasn't engaged, at least we got a quality fashion moment from it). The “Dance the Night” singer styled a lace onesie with a black mini dress for a fun layering moment. Ripa styled her sultry look with matching black pumps featuring crimson red ankle strap detailing as well as an engagement ring.

Engagement or not, one has to admit that it is a gorgeous ring.
