Royal fans waiting for the Royal Family to emerge from St. Mary Magdalen Church in Sandringham on Christmas Day got a front row seat to Prince Louis' latest mischief. The youngest son of Princess Kate and Prince William reportedly showed off his great sense of humor in the best possible way at the Royal Family's Christmas morning church service.
As reported by The Sun, royal fans waiting outside the church in Sandringham listened to the festive service over loud speakers. During the sermon, the Reverend Paul Williams reportedly showed the crowd a traditional British treat, Terry's Chocolate Oranges. These chocolate oranges are divided like fruit. Then Prince Louis appeared and made everyone laugh.
According to a royal fan listening outside, Williams instructed Prince Louis to “just drop” the chocolate on the floor. The instruction was “followed by a loud bang as the treats hit the floor,” according to The Sun. Prince Louis was reportedly a little too enthusiastic about “dropping” the chocolate oranges, causing loud laughter.
Prince Louis' comedy routine was not the only unforgettable thing that happened at Sandringham over Christmas. Princess Kate and Queen Camilla twinned in matching green outfits. King Charles' “Hot Equerry” helped Princess Kate carry gifts from royal fans. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were showered with gifts from their loved ones. Princess Kate also decided to interact with everyone in the crowd and was compared to her mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
Meanwhile, royal writer Ingrid Sward, writing in Hello! magazine about the difficulties Prince Louis and his siblings have overcome after their mother, Kate Middleton, was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. 'It's very frightening for a child to have a parent become ill, so Kate will want to spoil them a little bit,' she said. 'William and Kate may take the kids skiing during the Easter vacations and are probably planning a big summer vacation.'
