John Mulaney and Olivia Munn May Raise Children "Together" or "Separately," Sources Say

John Mulaney and Olivia Munn are expecting a child together, but apparently may not raise the baby as a couple.

The two began dating after Mulaney's divorce from Anna Marie Tendler in May 2021, and the shocking pregnancy announcement (opens in new tab) came just a few months later in September. Mulaney was all praise for their relationship at the time, but it seems things may be a little more acrimonious than he says.

"This has been an imperfect relationship from the start," a source told Us Weekly (opens in new tab).

"Even though Olivia is going to be a great mom and has great support behind her, Olivia's friends don't think these two will be a couple in a year."

Those close to the couple seem convinced that Munn and Mulaney "will make great parents, [but (but) no one knows yet whether they will do that together or separately"

.

The source added, "Olivia and John still have to decide what future, if any, they will have together, and it's an uncertain time for both of them," and they have "a long way to go before they decide and lock down what their relationship will be."

The dad-to-be announced his girlfriend's pregnancy on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" (opens in new tab), where he reflected on his year. 'I went to Los Angeles in the spring and met a wonderful woman named Olivia and we started dating. 'Actually, the first time I met her was at your wedding to your wife, Alexie. So it's nice that something good happened at the wedding."

The comedian added, "She started dating me right after she recovered. I'm very lucky to have met this woman. [......] We had a really great relationship," he added. He added, "...... And we are going to have a baby together," he announced in a teasing tone.
