New mom Rumer Willis feels proudly herself ahead of Mother's Day

On Friday, May 3, Willis posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram. One of the posts showed the new mom posing in a strapless black thigh-length dress next to what looked like a poster that read "mother knows best."

"And remember that... 😎," Willis captioned the post.

In another carousel of posters and videos, Willis appeared in the same outfit and posed several times for the camera.

"Big T** Energy... 😎 Because I was sick of the Big D*** Energy having all the fun," she wrote in the caption. "As Mother's Day approaches I feel sexier than ever. Feeling unstoppable xx."

Friends, family, and fans alike were quick to praise the new mother for her public display of confidence and self-love.

"Baby has big energy like a movie star," her older sister, Tallulah Willis, posted in the comments section.

"You are so beautiful," commented Derek Richard Thomas, her forever supportive boyfriend and the father of her child.

"@buuski AND i am more often babysitting so mama can go slay," commented another sister, Scout LaRue Willis.

This Mother's Day will be Willis' second as a new parent after giving birth to his 13-month-old daughter Luitta at home via water birth on April 13, 2023.

On May 2, at the premiere of her new film "Divorce Party," Willis opened up about life as a new mom.

"Honestly, it's all been rewarding," the actress told reporters, according to Fox News.

Willis admitted that she hasn't slept much.

"I don't think she ever went back into the deep sleep zone," Willis said at the time. 'She sleeps through the night and I think: what's going on?'

Still, Willis said she was very "blessed" and had a "positive and kind mothering experience" as a new mom.

"She's so happy, amazing, always smiling and cheerful," Willis said of her daughter.
