Hilary Duff has given birth to a beautiful baby girl.

The actress gave birth to Townes Meadow Bear on May 3 and is currently sharing stunning black and white photos of the child's underwater birth on Instagram.

"Townes Meadow Bear," Duff wrote." Now we know why she made us wait so long ... She had perfected those cheeks.

"I have dreamed for months of having you in my arms, and these five days of knowing, gazing at, and smelling you have been moments of pure magic. These five days of knowing, gazing at, and smelling you have been moments of pure magic.

The Lizzie McGuire star ended the caption by sharing Townes' birthday, crediting her midwifery service Birthing Rhythm and birth photographer Stephanie Entin.

Some of Duff's fellow former Disney Channel stars were among the first to congratulate her in the comments section.

Brenda Song (of "Suite Life" fame) wrote, "Congratulations! wrote: "I'm so happy for her! She's perfect. Congratulations indeed! I am in awe of you ladies."

Ashley Tisdale (of "High School Musical" fame) wrote, "Townes, you are already the cutest and coolest."

Elle Fanning, Jenna Diwan, and Becca Tilly also gave the new mom of four left sweet messages.

Townes is Duff's third child with husband Matthew Coma (real name: Matthew Baer) and her fourth child.

She is also mom to son Luke (age 11) and daughters Banks (age 5) and Mae (age 2), whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
