Taylor Swift Reportedly Making Nashville Her Home Base During WAG Era
The next era of Taylor Swift is in sight.
Sources close to Swift tell Page Six that the singer plans to call Nashville home for the foreseeable future. She already owns two homes in Nashville, as it will be closer to Kansas City, where she frequently visits to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. “It looks like this could be Taylor's domestic time,” a Swift insider told the outlet.
“Also, it looks like Taylor is trying to make Nashville her home base rather than LA or NY. It's closer to Kansas City, and her mother Andrea loves [Nashville].”
Page Six reports that Swift has been focusing on self-care since the end of the Elas tour, “getting regular acupuncture treatments and juicing to relax.”
In addition to the two homes Swift owns in Nashville (a whimsical penthouse apartment and a Greek Revival-style mansion in a gated community), she also owns properties in Los Angeles, New York, and Rhode Island, and sources say that she and Kelsey have been taking full advantage of her numerous homes, and they are taking full advantage of them.
“Taylor and Travis live a fairly nomadic lifestyle, and while Taylor is based everywhere, they live everywhere together,” the source added.
Still, it seems clear that proximity to Kansas City is a top priority for Swift, who is regularly seen cheering him on from the stands during Chiefs home games (attending away games is a security concern that the “Fortnite” (which is reportedly difficult for Singer).
“Taylor has really embraced the WAG life,” a source explains. In particular, she has returned from “Ella,” where she developed a close relationship with the band, dancers, singers, and crew.
“She appreciates that kind of camaraderie, collaboration, and chosen family. She fully understands and respects those bonds and why she needs support.”
